Crafted in Accra, since 2000

Accents & Arts Limited was founded in 2000 by Constance E. Swaniker. It began as a sole proprietorship and became a registered limited liability company in 2009. From our workshop in Bubuashie, Accra, we design and make unique pieces in exotic hardwoods, wrought iron, cane and glass, with a focus on exclusivity and attention to detail.

Our team of skilled artisans works to global standards of quality and craftsmanship. We are known for a wide range of traditional and contemporary designs, premium finishes and dependable service, and we work with homeowners, architects, interior designers and construction professionals, meeting their organisational, scheduling and quality requirements. From Accra, we make for clients across Ghana, Africa and beyond.

Inside our workshop

Our team works with you from concept to completion, pairing traditional craftsmanship with modern machinery. That range runs from intricate sculpture and ornamental work, through bespoke furniture and architectural features, to durable industrial components built for heavy use.

Everything is made under one roof, so design, fabrication and finishing stay in the same hands from start to finish.

Our quality control process

Five stages, each with its own checks, so you know what is happening and roughly how long it takes.

Stage 1

Brief and consultation

We listen, visit the site where needed and agree what success looks like.

Stage 2 / Up to 2 weeks

Final design and specifications

Drawings and technical details are finalised so production has a clear plan.

Stage 3 / Up to 3 days

Raw materials

We source and check quality materials before any cutting begins.

Stage 4 / Depends on scope

Production

Welding, carpentry and spraying in our workshop, with checks at each stage.

Quality check and installation

A final inspection, then delivery and installation on site.

Training the next generation of makers

Since 2009 we have offered industrial internships and apprenticeships to more than 600 young people, working with institutions such as KNUST and Ashesi.

In March 2016 Constance founded the Design and Technology Institute to close the gap between what industry needs and what classrooms teach.

  Ghanaian arts in the highest order. Sculptures, burglar proof , gates so beautifully made. Well I was told some are made from recycled waste. I think Ghanaians should a advocate for such industries
