Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Fabrication & Welding Technician to join our team. As a Fabrication & Welding Technician, you will play a crucial role in crafting high-quality metal works, including balustrades, sculptures, and decorative pieces. Your expertise in fabrication techniques and welding will contribute to the creation of visually stunning and durable artworks.

Responsibilities

• Interpret technical drawings and specifications to fabricate metal components and structures
• Operate and maintain welding equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Perform welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding, to assemble and join metal pieces
• Cut, shape, and form metal using various fabrication techniques, such as bending, grinding, and drilling
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure adherence to design specifications and fabrication standards
• Collaborate with the design team to translate artistic concepts into tangible metal works
• Assist with the selection and sourcing of materials required for fabrication projects
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring proper storage and handling of tools and equipment
• Follow established procedures and safety guidelines to ensure a safe and productive work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Fabrication & Welding Technician or a similar role
• Proficiency in welding techniques such as MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
• Strong knowledge of metal fabrication processes, including cutting, shaping, and forming
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
• Physical stamina and dexterity to handle metal materials and operate welding equipment
• Knowledge of safety protocols and procedures related to welding and fabrication work
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a team
